The Acro Building Systems 19" Contractor Roof Bracket.   Roof brackets are normally used on roofs steeper than a 4 / 12 pitch.  Acro improved the standard 16" roof bracket by adding an additional 3 inches in length.    The extra length allows the work plank to sit lower, out of the way of lapping shingles.  The Contractor Roof Bracket is made of wider metal, is re-enforced with a gusset and fluted back and offers a squared heel hammer strike plate.

Acro Has become the leading manufacturer of temporary guardrails for the construction and roofing industry.  Contractors look to Acro to get the quality american made products their safety deserves for "passive fall protection" or "fall prevention".  With changes to worker safety laws; Acro has developed several systems that give roofers a viable alternative to using an often impeding harness.

The Acro Building Systems Steep Pitch Guard Rail.  Using a roof bracket as a starting platform, a socket was added to hold the guard rail post.  The model #12070 safety guard rail adjusts to the pitch of the roof and is very easy to install since contractors already know how to use roof brackets.  The guard rail is attached to and removed from the roof exactly like a roof bracket.  Use 2" X 4" pre-cut studs as the cross-bars with a 2" X 6" board as the step plank.

The Acro Building Systems Parapet Guard Rail System.  A two-piece unit, the #12090 parapet bracket sits on top of the parapet wall and is secured with a thumb-screw adjustment bar.  No holes or other hardware is required to attach the Parapet Guard Rail System.  Simple.  Safe.  Use 2" X 4" pre-cut studs as the cross-bars.  Neither cables nor tensioning anchors are required.

The Acro Building Systems Universal Guard Rail System.  Our latest product, the new Universal Guard Rail System model #12060 is designed for multiple applications.  The key benefit of this guard rail system on flat roofs, metal roofs, parapet walls, skylights, stairwells, or rake edges on steep pitch roofs is the Universal Shoe Adaptor plate (U.S.A. Plate) which connects to virtually any mounting surface.  The U.S.A. Plate can attached by nails, bolts or welding.  Welded plates may be left permanently attached to the building, in which case only the shoe and post would be removed.

Acro Building Systems Ladder Accessories.  Getting to the roof is safer with the Ladder Stand-Off.  Holding tools or materials is easier with the Ladder Scoop.  And farther up the roof, the Ladder Hook securely holds ladders creating walk ways to the peak.  Note, the Acro Ladder Hook is reinforced so only one is required per ladder.

Acro Building Systems Long Handled Tools.  Spud bars, with two replaceable blade widths and two handle styles are designed for the toughest surface removals. The Acro chopper / scraper is an economical solution for clean up applications.  This is one tough tool with its steel handle and double-welded stem.

Acro Building Systems Wall Scaffolds.  More safety and convenience have been added to the Acro 48" wide wall scaffold through the use of a plate hanger support arm.  Connected to the wall studs with a ‘J' bolts, the scaffold is easily aligned to any height.
